Mr. Kazım teaches English. He lives in Ankara. His wife, Mrs. Mahmure, is also teacher. She teaches German. They think English is easy. However, Mr. Kazım’s students don’t agree with him.
Kazım and Mahmure have four children. The youngest, Osman, is four years old. His parents leave him to a kindergarten (ana okulu) when they go to school. He is a crazy boy. He always fights the children in the kindergarten. He also eats their breakfast. The teachers in the kindergarten think he is a bad stupid boy. His parents think that he is very very clever.
Mehmet is their oldest child. He studies physics at university. He is very popular at school because he is a good footballer. He doesn’t like physics. He is planning to be a footballer. His parents support him. The other children of the family, Ali and Veli, are both high school students. Their friends don’t like them much because they always say, “We are the cleverest”.
