The dolphins were quarrelling with the whales. Then they started fighting. The battle was very fierce and it would not stop soon. Then a little fish thought that he could end it. So he went up to them and tried to persuade them to stop fighting and be friends. But one of the Dolphins said to him contemptuously, “We would rather go on fighting till we’re all killed than be reconciled by a little fish like you!”
